DieTronic has designed a complete solution which comprises of cleaning of coil, washing of welded tubes, drying of tubes, anticorrosive spraying system and saw blade lubrication unit
The Coil Cleaning System uses a lower roller with rotating brushes that move transversally across the strip surface, eliminating marks and dirt particles that might otherwise remain imprinted on the tube surface. Removal of this contamination prevents damage and reduces wear on tube mill tooling.
The Tube Cleaner System can be used for any tube shape(s) and dimension(s), It enables the removal of any residual dirt thanks to the usage of solvents and water-based products at a controlled temperature.
With water from the mill coolant the responsible component for surface corrosion, DieTronic has developed a Pneumatic Air Knife Device to place at the entry of the system, which blows compressed air directly on the tube and prepares a dry surface for the application of anticorrosion fluids.
The Antirust Spraying Machine applies the precise amount of Rust Prevention oil (RPO) in-line in a constant and homogenous way, covering the whole tube surface and adjusting the quantity automatically and proportionally to the line speed.
The Minimum Quantity Lubrication Unit comprises of two spray nozzles. One to refrigerate the saw blade and the second, a special nozzle to spray pure oil (not coolant) in minimum quantities directly into the cutting zone. The great advantage of this technique is that it eliminates completely the use of water after the application of anticorrosive fluids on the tube, granting a more effective tube protection, enhancing the RPO performance and extending the saw blade life.
